Carlos Bermudez is our newest Real Estate Sales Agent. Although Carlos recently acquired his real estate license, he has many years of experience in the retail and restaurant fields. Carlos worked for over 6 years as a manager at our local Pier 1 Imports store where he led in sales and was a favorite of customers because of his strong and unique talent for interior decorating.

Although Carlos was born and raised in Newburgh, New York … Carlos lived in New York City for over 20 years. Carlos worked in some of New York City’s trendiest restaurants in the West Village, Midtown and Fire Island where he sharpened his people skills and discovered his love for customer service. Carlos also has sales experience working for Louis Vuitton at Saks 5th Avenue in NYC.

Five years ago, Carlos acquired his first home in the City of Newburgh off of “Restaurant Row’ (LIberty St) and spent two and a half years restoring his pride and joy, his forever home. Carlos’ experience with home restorations and decorating make him an asset not just to our real estate agency but to our valued clients as well. Carlos’ knowledge of local building codes and permit requirements will help his clients in making an informed decision about any restoration and/or new build ideas they may have.

Carlos’ transition into real estate was a natural evolution that allowed him to indulge in his love for making his clients' lives better by taking on the stress of buying and/or selling a home … and turning it into a more pleasant, positive and fullfiling experience.
